Casual Size Catering (Fewer than 150 People)

 

Q-Does Giffy’s come onsite for under 150 people?
A-Giffy’s has a 150 minimum for private party catering. However, for some events Giffy’s will lower this minimum for events with larger menus. Most events under 150 people will be pickups or a delivery.

Q-Do I have to pick this up?
A-For most events of this size we will have food ready for pick up. Deliveries can also be done based on the size of event, location and availability.

Q-Does Giffy’s deliver?
A-Yes, we do depending on size of event, location and availability. Delivery charges will range depending on location.

Q-What menu should I use?
A-For smaller gatherings use our Casual size catering menu or restaurant menu.

Q-How much food does a full pan feed?
A-On average 40ish people, depending on your guests and what other foods are being offered.

Q-How much food does a ½ pan feed?
A-On average 20ish people, depending on your guests and other foods are being offered.

Q-How much food should I order?
A-Depends on your budget and guests, but usually 1-2 entrée items and 2-4 sides. Always remember rolls and paper products. The more food you order the less volume of each you need.

Q-Can I get a full or ½ pan of Bar-B-Q chicken?
A-No, they are sold by the ½ chicken. We can keep them as ½’s or ¼ them. Then we put however much you order into a pan.

Q-Can I get a full or ½ pan of Baby Back ribs?
A-No, they are sold by the full or ½ slab of ribs. We can keep them whole or ¼ them up for you. Then we put however much you order into a pan.

Q-How big is a slab of Baby Back ribs?
A-A full slab is 12-13 bones (about 12-13 inches). A ½ slab is 6-7 bones (about 6-7 inches). A ¼ slab is 4-5 bones (about 4-5 inches).

Q-Do you sell whole chickens?
A-We sell our Bar-B-Q chickens by the ½ because that is how they are cooked. If you would like a whole chicken… order 2 halves.

Q-Are your salads homemade?
A-Yes, all salads are homemade and BOY ARE THEY GOOD!

Q-How far in advance should I order?
A-More notice the better. But on average 1-2 weeks in advance. However we can always fit in orders the day before of that day.

Q-Do I have to Pre pay for my order?
A-No, we will require a credit card number to hold the order. We do not charge the card, we will if you don’t show up. Payment is required at time of pickup or delivery.

Q-Can I have a family member or friend pick up order for me?
A-Yes, this happens often. Just inform u who will be picking up and if we need to run your credit card.

Q-How far will you deliver?
A-Delivery is based upon size of event, location and availability. We do not deliver further than 40 minutes from the restaurant as we cannot guarantee quality.

Q-If Giffy’s is delivering will they stay and serve/clean up?
A-Yes, depending on your size and type of event if staffing is available we can deliver, serve, and clean up. There will be a delivery charge and 15%-18% gratuity for this service.

Q-Do you offer anything for kids?
A-Yes, we have chicken fingers, Mac n cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers, baked ziti and cane even do Peanut Butter and Jelly.

Q-Do I have to order a full meal or can I get this individually?
A-Our Casual Size Menu is designed for you to pick and choose how much or how little you need.
